Alp-Con CinemaTour kicks off its eighth round – Mountain sports – Deutscher Alpenverein (DAV)

Outdoor films in 66 German-speaking cinemas

This year’s Alp-Con CinemaTour has kicked off and throughout the fall, inspiring and motivating sports and outdoor films are flickering on big cinema screens: Bike, Moutain or Snow? – That’s the only question that viewers have to ask for choosing the right film block for them.

Characters, experiences and messages

Sometimes picturesque. Sometimes breathtaking. – This is how the natural sites of the earth, where athletes and outdoor enthusiasts look for and find their adventure. For the eighth time, the Alp-Con CinemaTour brings a selection of stories to tell in German, Austrian and Italian cinemas.

The Alp-Con is subdivided into each of the stories: “Bike”, “Mountain” and “Snow” are the film blocks that fill the screens on different evenings. Each of the blocks shows three to four movies. – Ambitious projects such as the “Dreamride” trilogy by Mike Hopkins in the film block bike, the moving story of Apa Sherpa in the short documentary “Loved by all” at Filmblock Mountain or “Hoji – The Movie”, a film about the Canadian Eric Hjorleifson , the world’s hero of many skiers in the film block Snow.
